epf claim status shows payment under process
After a successful 10% provident fund withdrawal, the employee can check his EPF withdrawal status on the official website of EPFO.
The status of the EPF claim under the process means that the review of the application is complete and they will approve the application in the meantime. The EPFO is conducting all its transactions through the National Electronic Transfer Fund (NEFT); EPFO previously used DD or check as payment and EPFO shows the claim message as provident fund settlement approved for payment through DD or check.
The EPFO will show you two types of messages either under the payment process, or approve the claim. Payment under the process means that the EPFO has successfully received your application for withdrawal.
Currently, EPFO uses NEFT for claim settlement, and it displays the message as follows
If payment is delayed, show the message as "The payment process under EPF claim status shows."
Whenever EPF shows the above message, it means that your claim for a provident fund is in process, once the EPFO has approved it, it will send your claim money to your bank account through NEFT. After payment, EPFO will send you a message about Form 10C withdrawal benefit claim status.
